cc epr507El Departament de Cirurgia Oral i Maxil·lofacial de l'Hospital Can Misses ha participat en un estudi epidemiològic de l'impacte socioeconòmic de fractures de mandíbula en un hospital espanyol terciari. També hi han participat l'Hospital Miguel Servet i la Universitat de Zaragoza.

Sara Blanco Sanfrutos, cirurgiana maxil·lofacial de l'Hospital Can Misses, ha participat en la publicació de l'article amb el títol "Epidemiological Study of the Socioeconomic Impact of Mandible Fractures in a Spanish Tertiary Hospital: Review of the Literature" a la revista Journal of Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery.

Les fractures de la mandíbula són una de les patologies més freqüents tractades en un departament de cirurgia oral i maxil·lofacial i representa un problema seriós. Es presenta un estudi retrospectiu de pacients tractats per fractures de mandíbula per un departament de cirurgia oral i maxil·lofacial d'un hospital espanyol terciari durant 2010-2012.
