El Servei de Reumatologia de l'Hospital Universitari Son Llàtzer, ha participat en la publicació d'un estudi sobre la influència de l'edat en l'aparició d'esdeveniments adversos en pacients reumatològics a l'inici del tractament biològic. També hi han participat diferents centres espanyols.
Inmaculada Ros-Vilamajó, reumatòloga de l'Hospital Universitari Son Llàtzer, ha participat en la publicació de l'article amb el títol "Influence of Age on the Occurrence of Adverse Events in Rheumatic Patients at the Onset of Biological Treatment: Data From the BIOBADASER III Register" a la revista Arthritis Research & Therapy.
L'objectiu era avaluar si l'edat, al principi del tractament biològic, està associat amb el temps que es produeix un primer esdeveniment advers (EA) apareix en pacients amb artritis reumatoide, espondilitis anquilosant o artritis psoriàsica.
